Help wanted
Can you identify the unknown faces in the photo below taken on a visit to Portugal in maybe 1982? So if you know the actual date of when the photo was taken or the unknown people, please email
Mark.

Back row: Father Miguel, Nick Barton, Kurt Holmes, Steven Salkind, Unknown, Danny Sutcliffe, Scott Parker, Michael Foreman and Ron Barker.
Front row: Gary Keen, Dave White, Richard Blyth and Paul McVey.
They were a 'select team' from the three Herne Bay Clubs who went to Estoril for training at the Salesiana School under the coaching of Father Miquel. They were there for at least a week.
Father Miquel is a very famous person in the history of Portuguese Roller Hockey as a coach of many famous players. He taught maths and art at the school and he designed and drew plans for many rinks in Portugal including the one at the school and also in Macau, Angola and Mozambique too. He came to Herne Bay a few years after this visit.
The boys all stayed with families and had a great time on and off the rink. This was also the very first time English boys had ever done such a thing but of course now it happens all the time.
Do you have any further information? If so please email it to
Mark.
