Forthcoming events
There are a number of club social events to make space for in your diaries.
Race Night
This event is taking place at the Swalecliffe Community Centre on Saturday 14 November 2009. There is a bar and some light refreshments will be provided.
During the evening there will be ten races, each with eight horses competing. Sponsors are needed for each race at a cost of £20 which gives you the honour of having the race named after you. There is also the chance to buy one of the eighty horses for £5. You can name your horse and if it wins there is a cash prize as well as a bottle of wine and some chocolates! Admission to the event is free so bring your friends and family and have a flutter at the races. We are also holding a Ladies' Race with a prize for the best hat!
Running alongside the races there is a disco for the children with admission of £2 which includes snacks.
Wine and Wisdom
This will also be held at the Swalecliffe Community Centre on Saturday 13 February 2010. Further details will be available nearer the time.
Bowling Nights
The most recent bowling night was on 22 November 2008.

Children in Need
We held a sponsored skate for Children in Need on 14 November 2008. Well done to everyone who completed all 22 laps to skate a mile. We raised almost £400 - a great result!
Halloween Party
A selection of scary monsters will soon be available in a slide show!
Wine and Wisdom
